Worship

“We love because he first loved us.”  1 John 4 v 19. 

We worship God because of his extraordinary love for us. Jesus said the greatest commandment is to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. Another way to say it would be, "to love Him with everything we have and everything we are." Praise and worship are a way of expressing this love that Jesus described.

We believe our worship must be purposeful, passionate and sincere, fully engaging our whole person (i.e. spirit, mind, will, emotions and body). When we gather together as the church, the singers and musicians who lead us in praise and worship seek to provide a platform for all of us to fully participate in this expression of love for our God. Even in times of silence, we are actively engaged together in Spirit to spirit communion with our God.

Scripture is clear; the Father is searching for those who will enter into worship “in spirit and in truth” (John 4 v 23). It is this kind of worship that draws God's manifest presence and helps open the door for the release of His power.

We are committed to worshipping together in a way that will bless God and allow us to see His kingdom come and His will done, on earth as it is in heaven.
